So, my final comment: Maximum Ride? Really? This is a marginal story at best (teens, with wings, and the evil gubment is hunting them, etc etc ad nauseum) even before the GN treatment, and not only are you folks eating this up, you’re preordering the graphic novels without knowing when or if they’ll be available? I mean, hat tip to Yen for finding a steady income stream but Patterson? Global-nominally-original-[airquote]manga[/airquote] about teen [airquote]_angels_[/airquote]? If I didn’t own a full run of Pastel, a sin that keeps me from arguing anything from the moral high ground, I’d be lambasting these fans and lamenting what has become of the overall fanbase. As it stands, well… OK, I’m not buying it — and as stated: Kudos to Yen.
