Found: Zot! online preview
And too good not to share immediately—
I was in the data reconciliation phase of compiling the charts (week ending 17 May), which is also when I nail down the publishing information (what little bit I track, and the spreadsheet ballooned by 2700 or so entries when I started to track all graphic novels, not just manga so it’ll be awhile before I can post the tertiary reports as I need the time to enter pub. info — and the emerging trends and new release posts rely directly on that info, so I can’t post ‘em anyway)
methodology aside:
I was looking up Zot! by Scott McCloud to see which Harper imprint it was published under (that’d be Harper, straight up, no qualifiers btw) and I found this truly spectacular preview posted online at the HarperCollins website: The front and back covers, Scott’s preface and postscript, and the first 108 pages, complete.
It can take a little while to load. And it’s embedded in a flash reader, but the resolution seems fine for casual reading and sweet mother of bacon there are 90 pages of strip up on that site.
